Are designer glasses frames covered by insurance?

I have astigmatism and im gonna get a perscription. My insurance is NC Health Choice. Are designer glasses frames covered by insurance?

general vision insurance may provide specified dollar amounts or discounts for the purchase of eyeglasses and contact lenses . It will not appoint which brand frames you can buy and which you not .if the cost of the frame you choose exceed that certain amount ,you will pay yourself . I don't know much about the NC Health Choice , you can call them and ask .
