chlorine cannot lead to yellow eyes, but it really do harms to eyes. Yellow eyes occur when the whites of the eyes (sclerae) take on a yellowish tinge. Also known as scleral icterus, yellow eyes are generally a sign of jaundice caused by a buildup of bilirubin in the blood. Bilirubin is a yellow-colored pigment that is produced by the breakdown of old red blood cells. Bilirubin is normally processed by the liver and released into the intestine in bile before being excreted from the body through the feces. The health effects resulting from most chlorine exposures begin within seconds to minutes. The severity of the signs and symptoms caused by chlorine will vary according to amount, route and duration of exposure. Children may receive a larger dose than adults exposed to environments with the same levels of chlorine gas because they have greater lung surface area-to-body weight ratios and increased minute volumes-to-weight ratios. In addition, they may be exposed to higher levels than adults in the same location because of their shorter height and the higher levels of chlorine gas that may be found nearer the ground.

Actually the infection from the chlorine will make your eyes get red because of the stimulation of the irritates. As we know, the chlorine is common seen in the swimming pool which could have the toxic character. Your eyes may have the danger of getting bacterium infection. Then it will be red and then cause other problems at both eyes and body health. The chlorine is high concentrations in the gaseous or liquid which has obvious irritation and corrosion resistance. This is needed to be aware of. It can lead to respiratory system and a series of symptoms, seriously leading to pulmonary edema and respiratory failure which is used in water disinfection. However, chemical change and low concentration is almost harmless to people because of dissolving in water. However yellow eyes can stand that you may have the problems at the liver which you need to have a check. You need to have the good rest for your eyes. Some medical care is necessary.
