    Is it possible to get color blindness from tanning beds? Is there any side effects on eyes because of tanning beds?

    The possibility to get color blindness from tanning beds is very low because most people with color blind are born to be. However there are many side effects on your eyes because of tanning. Your eyes will get red easily. Your eyes will be dry seriously which you need to use the eye drops to release it. You could also use the warm compress to make your eyes get comfortable.

When you use sun tanning bed too much without wearing goggles, you may suffer from arc eyes which is academically named Photokeratitis. Arc eyes or ultraviolet keratitis is an eye disease caused by overexposure to ultraviolet without protection such as snow blindness, welder's flash, flash burn and so on. After several hours' exposure to ultraviolet, the cornea and conjunctiva are sunburned. Symptoms like pain in the eyes, eyelid twitching, sensitivity to bright light, constricted pupils and intense tears occurs.

And according to some experts, there are uv rays omitted by tanning bed, and that will affect eyes. In some cases, it can lead to eye cancer, because of excessive UV ray exposure. By the way, inflammation of the cornea, cataracts can be possible to. On the other hand, it cannot lead to color blindness. As we know that the causes of color blindness can be various, and injury of the eye, aging or as a side effect of using certain medications or drugs can be the most common ones. And of course, it can be hereditary too.
