You need to let your grandpa have the good rest. At the same time, he should eat more food with vitamin C. There are a lot of foods with vitamin C that you could know. You could take some fresh vegetables, like spinach, vegetable, leek, green peppers, cucumber, pakchoi, broccoli and cauliflower with fresh jujubes. There are also a lot of fruits rich in vitamin C. Cataracts are caused by the breaking down and lumping together of proteins which together with water make up the natural lens, a clear and round disk that directs light onto the back of your eye behind the colored part of your eye. Cataracts can make it hard for the lens to turn and the eyes see cloudy, contributing to damaged vision. Sometimes, a cataract surgery will clear the cataracts, but there are certain nutrients, such as omega-3 may help prevent or slow the growth of cataracts. Omega-3 is a kind of fatty acid which possesses plays an important role in cataract prevention. People with cataracts can also choose eys supplements such as fish oil capsules or flaxseed oil capsules. Sea foods such as mackerel, tuna and salmon are good for their eyes, too. Besides, ground flaxseed, walnuts, soybeans and royal jelly can also be added into your grandpa's daily diet.
