The heterochromia is hereditary which will pass onto your children. It will make your children have two different colors at two eyes. Or he or she may have different colors at one eye. It is the strange eye problem. You should take great care of the eyes. However if your partner has no such problems at the eyes, your children may have 50% possibility to have healthy eyes.

Yes, heterochromia can be hereditary. There are many possible causes for heterochromia including heredity, genetic mosaicism, chimerism, disease, or injury. In the case of injury and diseases, it can be cured and won't be passed to children. However, when it turns out to be related genetic defects, there is a chance for the descendants to have heterochromia.
