You could take the medicine to get rid of the pink eyes. About whether it could be disappeared within 24 hours, you could have a try. Actually you need to have the good rest and stay at home. After several days, the pink eyes will be disappeared. You should not worry and just wait for its recovery.

There are three primary types of pink eye, also called conjunctivitis, viral conjunctivitis, bacterial conjunctivitis and allergic conjunctivitis. Eyes can be watery and even bright lights can bother vision along with redness, eye pain and puffy eyelids. In conclusion, pink eye can be caused by viruses, bacteria and allergens. You can use some allergy medications to control the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. If you are indoors, you need to shut up the window, run your air-conditioner to filter the allergens and use the vacuum to clean the dust. Whereas you go our door, you may need to wear sunglasses. With timely rescue, most bacterial forms of conjunctivitis can be treated with antibiotic drops, but it will cause serious damage to the eye if left untreated. In addition, if viral infections are diagnosed, the drainage from the eye is contagious for about two days after antibiotic treatment, although it is still without medical treatment. It tends to resolve on its own. So it is not possible to be cured in 24 hours whatever form of conjunctivitis.

Well, pink eye is inflammation of the thin, clear covering of the white of the eye and the inside of the eyelids. And generally speaking, conjunctivitis can have several causes. But on the other hand, in common, pink eye can refer only to viral conjunctivitis, which is a highly contagious infection caused by a variety of viruses. When it occurs, watery, itchy eyes, sensitivity to light can be possible. To treat it quickly, you can apply a cold, wet washcloth to the eyes several times a day with cold compresses, which can relieve symptoms. Also, antibiotic eye drops or ointments can be effective too.
