Usually this check will do no harm on the eyes. Thus there is no worry for you to take the age of your child into consideration. The optometrists determines the eyeball refractive status and understand whether the measured eye have ever refractive error or belong to refractive error type and degree. Then they can put forward a method of treatment plan. You could bring your child to have a full eye exam which is very necessary.

I think, you can now take your child to get an eye exam. Eyes are really important for everyone. So, you shall all ways take care of their eyes. According to American Optometric Association (AOA), infants should have their first comprehensive eye exam at 6 months of age. And for children at 3 age, he/she shall have additional eye exam. Besides, children at age 5 or 6 are also need to take an eye exam before they enter their first grade.

Well, it is very important to see an optometrist for everyone, not just children. And also, through eye exam, you can know your eye condition and have them to treat as soon as possible. Generally speaking, Beginning at age 3, children should have their vision checked every year by their pediatrician at their regular well-child visits, or by an optometrist. Certain factors may cause a child to be more at risk for eye conditions and diseases, and may warrant earlier or more frequent vision screening tests. These include having been born prematurely, developmental delays, having crossed eyes, having sustained an injury to the eye, and having a family history of eye diseases. your kid should see an optometrist now.

Kids can start to see optometrist when they are three years old. If your kid has good vision, you can just take to the hospital to have a text and make sure there is nothing wrong with his eyesight. You should pay much attention to your kids' eye health.
