Do polarized sunglasses work better than those with anti-glare coating?

The purpose of an AR coating is to provide relief from glare off the back of the lens while polarized sunglasses are used to reduce or eliminate glare from passing through the lens. So work in different ways and we cannot tell which one is better.

It is hard to say which is better cuz they work in different ways. It is just like to say apple and banana which is better.
