Why is it that sunglasses look cool but reading glasses not so much?

Sunglasses on the market are of variety sytles and are quite beautiful, however, reading glasses always look nerd and are with less styles. Can anyone tell me why?

I think it is because people who wear sunglasses are mostly young people and they use them for outdoor activities where they pay much attention to their self-image ,then sunglasses are designed to add definition to a face . reading glasses are usually needed by people over 40s and for indoor usage, so they are not as stylish as the sunglasses .

Most sunglasses are for fashion use while most reading glasses are for vision correction.

Sunglasses are always with tinted lenses while reading glasses are with transparent lenses. Sunglasses are usually used outdoors and reading glasses are usually used indoors.
