  • Can I go for progressive lenses to see computer screen?

Now I have a separate computer glasses and bifocal glasses. I wonder if I can get progressive lenses for computer as they have multifocus(near, middle and far).

Yes, the progressive lenses are characterized by a gradient of increasing lens power, added to the wearer's correction for the other refractive errors. The gradient starts at the wearer's distance prescription, at the top of the lens and reaches a maximum addition power, or the full reading addition, at the bottom of the lens. So the progressive lenses can meet your demands.

Of course you can use progressive lenses to see computer screen. However, the the middle part area that you used for computer is not so wide that you may find difficult to look through your progressive lenses to see computer screen. So if you have a separate glasses for computer that can still be used, you'd better use the separate computer glasses and bifocal glasses.

Yes,you can.The progressive glasses are multifocal and enable you to see near, middle and far.But you may have difficulties in getting used to them at first.
