  • Why do I have a blurry vision when I have my contacts on?

Help! I have a blur to everything when I put my contacts in one eye. What's wrong with my contacts?

Maybe there are some foreign objects on the surface of your contacts. You can take them off immediately and have a close look at your contacts. You can use some artificial tears to wash your contacts and then put them back into your eyes again. If this helped, your blurry vision was definitely caused by unclean contacts. Good luck!

Well, maybe you just damage your contacts in some way. I don't know what caused the damage. But swim with contacts or put contacts in wrong solutions will damage the contacts because the contacts and the chemicals in the swimming pool or solutions will have chemical reaction. If the surface of the contacts is not smooth anymore, it will lead to blurry vision when we put them on.

Contacts are supposed to correct our vision problems other than make the situation go worse. If you have blurry vision after putting on contacts, there might be some problems with your contacts. Maybe this pair of contacts is expired. You need to buy a pair of new contacts for instead.

Maybe you just put the left contacts in your right eye. Sometimes our eyes may not have the same degrees. And the left contact should be put into the left eye only. If you misuse them, you may have blurry vision. Or if your contacts are upside down, it may cause problems too. So before putting on your contacts, you must make sure that the right contact goes into the right eye. Good luck!
