Are clear contacts better than colored contacts?

I want to buy some contact lenses for wearing in some situation that i don't want to wear eyeglasses. Can you give me an idea, are clear contact lenses better than colored contact lenses? Or they are just the same ?

As a matter of fact, colored contact lenses are quite different from clear ones. As you know, the former one has one more function, making people's eyes more attractive than before. But, there are also some side effects of the colored contacts. It is reported that by wearing them, you would be more likely to get infected, even give rise to parasite, this is true! Also, it will cause damage to your eyes, red eyes, etc. So, just wear clear contacts is enough.
